Who We Are
Ed Willkie Middle School, home of the Badgers, is a proud and spirited campus in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
We serve students in grades 6–8 from the southwest portion of the district. Known for strong academics, meaningful relationships, and a focus on the whole child, Ed Willkie is a place where students are supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

Our History
Ed Willkie Middle School opened in 2008 and was named in honor of Mr. Ed Willkie (1933–2020), a lifelong educator and dedicated EMS ISD Board of Education member.
Mr. Willkie served on the board for 30 years, becoming a voice for public education and a champion for students, teachers, and families. His legacy of leadership continues to shape the values and vision of the school that bears his name.
