Middle school golf is a unique opportunity for students to develop their skills in a structured and competitive environment. The program is held off campus at Chisholm Trail High School and is led by an EMS ISD high school golf coach.
- Practices are held at Chisholm Trail High School
- A school bus will transport students from Ed Willkie Middle School to the high school
- After practice, students will return to Chisholm Trail High School by bus
- Students are not enrolled in the middle school athletics class during the school day while participating in golf
- Golfers are expected to have their own clubs and golf bag
- Students will have access to club storage at the high school
Participation in golf includes opportunities to compete in tournaments during both the fall and spring seasons. To participate in competitions, students must meet UIL eligibility requirements and demonstrate basic golf skills, including keeping score and playing independently on the course.
This program is a great way for student-athletes to grow their game, build character, and represent their school in a sport they enjoy.
