The Art of Expression

The Ed Willkie art program provides middle school students the opportunity to be creative and artistic while using a wide variety of mediums.

Open to students in grades 6, 7, and 8, Visual Arts at Ed Willkie encourages imagination, self-expression, and skill-building through hands-on projects. In a supportive and engaging environment, students explore their creativity while developing confidence in their artistic abilities.

  • Students work with a range of materials and techniques
  • Projects are designed to inspire originality and creative thinking
  • Artwork is often displayed in school and district-wide exhibitions

We invite students to discover the joy of creating and to express their unique voice—one project at a time.

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
~ Maya Angelou
